Biography
About my work
Until the 2020s, the artistic interest lay above all in the functions and aesthetics of physical and mechanical systems, natural and artificially generated patterns, machines and their cyclical rhythms.
In the current phase of work, the focus is on self-reflection, one’s own position in the world and within global contexts, as well as social themes and fundamental questions of life.
Characteristic of the works are strong contrasts and fine, detailed figurative drawings. Symbolic visual languages and recurring patterns frequently appear in them.
